Dr. Bemani says that the most rewarding part of her job as a Catonsville dentist is that she gets to build relationships with each of her patients while she helps them achieve their dental goals. Watching someone’s journey toward a healthier, more confident smile is so fulfilling when you truly understand them as a person. She’s eager to offer you and your loved ones high-quality dentistry in a calm, nurturing environment, but before that, you can start getting to know her below.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
When she was about six or seven years old, Dr. Bemani had a dentist that she absolutely loved. Everything, from the way the doctor treated her patients to how she made a positive impact on their lives, left an impression on Dr. Bemani, and she wanted to do the same. She also always liked working with her hands and strived to have a career that would enable her to serve the community.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Bemani moved to the U.S. from Iran over 20 years ago, and she has lived in Maryland since day one. She received a master’s degree in biomedical science from Hood College before earning her dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Today, she still takes a lot of continuing education courses to keep herself up to date with current studies and practices, and she is also a certified Invisalign provider.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Bemani and her husband Navid have a grown son named Yassin, as well as a young daughter, Yassaman. Spending quality time with family is the most important thing for her, and together, they like to travel so they can experience different cultures firsthand. She also stays active and relaxes by swimming.
